In the app
- Sign in to Athzy and open Profile (your avatar on the Home screen).
- Scroll to the bottom, below Settings, and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Deletion happens straight away and you are signed out.
Without the app
Email privacy@athzy.in from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my Athzy account" and your username if you know it. We may ask you to confirm the account is yours. Never send us your password. We process requests within 7 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted immediately
- Your sign-in details, email address, username, phone number and saved location.
- Your community posts, comments, likes and poll votes.
- Your connections, follows, blocks, saved venues, notifications and registered devices.
- The content of your chat messages (they show as "This message was deleted").
- Your upcoming venue reservations, event registrations and tournament entries are cancelled, and your name is replaced with "Deleted player" on any team rosters you were on.
- The personal details in your past registrations (name, email, phone, emergency contact) are erased.
What may remain
- Records of past bookings and registrations without your personal details, so venues' and organisers' attendance and capacity records stay correct.
- Reports involving your account, kept only as long as needed for safety and legal obligations.
- Copies in encrypted backups, overwritten within 30 days.
- Messages other people already received outside Athzy (for example, screenshots) — we cannot remove those.
You can sign up again later with the same email, but your old account and content cannot be restored.
